It sound like your plant could be needing a bigger pot. Though this may not be the case as you say that you re-pot them every year. You may also be bearing them when they are watered. This should not be a problem, however keep an eye on them and watch out for any signs that the plant is in distress so that you can take action. Sorry if this is not much help. I have plants that do this to and all are still in good health.
Reply:Some house plants are vigorous growers and have good root balls and really need to be put in bigger pots, but you could trim the roots.
Reply:Perhaps you are watering them too much and the roots are growing up to get out of the water in the bottom. Make sure you have drainage holes and a layer of drainage stones at the bottom of the pot.

Hope this helps
Reply:They are just growing really well is all, plant in bigger than normal pots that you would use, then maybe you wouldnt have to repot so often
Reply:they need potting on you obviously are looking after you plants brilliantly, well done.
Reply:It's not the right time of year to repot. But you can topdress with some more compost, if you have enough headroom
Reply:Because they are happy and growing fast. Dont let them go too pot bound.
Reply:you have to re-pot it from time to time because they're growing bigger.
