drip hose...you don't want water on the foliage if at all possible... same goes with all plants for the most part... plus less water will evaporate before it gets to the roots...and the drip hoses water slower to allow the roots to fully hydrate themselves

How about a water hose. I'd use a light sprayhead on that water hose.
