Nothing I have ever found is nicer.

but they're so powerful, you can't have a bush too near a window--about fifty feet is needed.



Only violets even compare, for me.

Reply:Boy you are bringing back memories there. My mother had a large potted gardenia and when it bloomed, the fragrance just about filled the entire house. Ahh, those memories are bittersweet. I also lived in a duplex where there was a huge gardenia bush outside my bedroom window and the aroma would waft in on quiet summer nights. Thanks.

Reply:Not that I can think of. Gosh I love them! If you put one flower in a vase with water, the whole room will smell and it looks really pretty!?
